Your Choice Foundation is ending substance abuse before it starts by encouraging individuals to make their next choice their best choice!

Who We Are

Your Choice Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit with headquarters in York, Pa. Our primary purpose is to educate youth to make their next choice their best choice in terms of decisions they make regarding drugs, alcohol, bullying or even suicide. We accomplish this several ways, but most importantly through motivational speaking engagements at schools and community-wide awareness events.

First, we enable Ron L. James, our primary speaker, and others like him to speak in schools and colleges to share the important message of addiction prevention through his message on “choices." Ron has inspired well over 800,000 individuals, with more than 5,000 presentations throughout our country, but we are far from the finish line. We have found that schools that have the greatest need to hear his message, often have the most limited funding.

Second, we have produced a full-feature film about Ron’s life, titled, “Choices.” The film chronicles his emotional, heartfelt, amusing, and thought-provoking journey through his personal battles, decisions, and the consequences that led him to spending 25 years going in and out of prison. Within the last year, we have begun taking the film around the country, showing it in schools, community centers, churches, and movie theaters. These events serve as community awareness and prevention events. The film’s message is one of inspiration and hope for anyone who wants to begin making better choices today.

We are a passionate group of people focused on reaching even more schools and communities across the country and here in our local community.
