RON l. JAMES - FOUNDER, SPEAKER, AUTHOR, LIFE COACH
Ron L. James lived a life in and out of prison until he decided to make the choice to embrace his faith and commit to the hard work of turning his life around. He became a published author and travels the country to shares his story, inspiring others to make their next choice their best choice.
Your Choice Foundation was founded by Ron and a team of supporters to enable him to continue delivering a message of hope, love and faith that inspires and motivates others. Ron is the director of programs for the foundation and continues to add services to address the needs of schools, churches, community organizations, law enforcement and more.
Fun fact: Happily married to Anneliese James. Their blended family consists of four children - Kyle, Karissa, Lanaya, Mireya and two grandchildren - Sawyer and Payton. Ron enjoys traveling, amusement parks, and brainstorming new ideas.
JEFFREY L. BORTNER - FOUNDER
Jeffrey L. Bortner, P.E. is the owner and founder of JLB Architectural Engineering. Jeff has spent his entire professional career (since 1977) in the glass, metal and glazing industry with an emphasis on window, curtain wall and storefront projects.
Jeff is a visionary! He is a managing director for Your Choice Foundation where he uses his extensive experience in operating his own business to help the foundation establish a strong center of operations.
Fun fact: Jeff is happily married to his very special lady, Tammi. They have raised three children; Meagan, Laura, and Matt. They now have five young grandsons; Sean, Joshua, Ronan, Luke and Caleb. Jeff is a graduate of Penn State University and loves Penn State football, the Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens.
