The Your CHOICE Foundation is honored to partner with Creative Hope Studios to support the work they do to serve children in need nationally. Creative Hope Studios is an innovator in Juvenile Justice Reform by providing culturally relevant programming and music therapy opportunities for children from abusive and traumatic backgrounds and environments. The majority of the youth we serve are in the juvenile justice system and foster-care system and are from underserved communities.

The Your CHOICE Foundation has a long-standing relationship with TJ Griffin, the Co-Founder of Creative Hope Studios. TJ has been a speaker, trainer, and youth mentor with the Foundation for many years, and recently starred in the 2018 feature film CHOICES playing the lead role of the Your CHOICE Foundations founder, speaker, and author Mr. Ron James.

Before working in juvenile justice, TJ was a recording artist manager and booking agent in the music business and has worked with the likes of mega film director Zack Snyder, N.O.R.E., Armageddon, Queen, Fat Joe, and rapper-actor Ice-T.

Has hip-hop, R&B, country, rock, or indie music ever had a positive impact on you when you were at your lowest? Making music, creative writing, poetry, songwriting, and artistic expression are unfortunately something many youths in the judicial system are missing.
